Is there any plan to develop an electric motorcycle or a more powerful e-bike based on the CIAO?

At the moment, Ambra Italia has chosen to focus on the development of an e-bike that respects the limits of 250W of power and 25 km/h of maximum speed. This decision is based on three fundamental principles:

THE AESTHETICS: Our goal is to preserve the iconic design of the CIAO. Increasing engine power would require significant modifications that would alter the original aesthetics of the vehicle, thus compromising the classic appearance we intend to maintain.

RUNNING COSTS: Our priority is to offer an affordable option that minimizes running costs for our customers. The introduction of a more powerful version of the vehicle would inevitably entail additional charges, such as registration and insurance, which move away from our vision of facilitating access to electric mobility. It is important to consider that, despite the larger initial investment for purchasing an e-bike, Ambra Italia's vision is to ensure substantial convenience and savings in the long term. This approach underlines our commitment to promoting sustainable transport solutions that not only respect the environment but also prove economically advantageous for our customers over time.

USABILITY: An e-bike that complies with current limits can circulate without restrictions in the city, making it extremely practical and versatile for daily use. This freedom of movement, combined with ease of management, makes the vehicle ideal for a wide variety of users.

Despite our current focus, we are constantly looking for innovations and remain open to feedback from our customers. Innovation drives our mission, and we may consider developing new solutions in the future that align our passion for design and technology with our commitment to sustainability and accessibility.
